We were just walking around enjoying the cape and it was my first visit to Provincetown. We are lunch and had a fabulous waiter (Eian) from Bulgaria! He was one of the best waiters ever, the food (lobster rolls) was divine and of course the Greek salad was the best we've ever had!! Will definitely return! Kudos to Eian!!!!!

Had a great lunch (Cubano and spicy chicken sandwiches, both with delicious salads) with great bartender (Mike) and returned for dinner and a show but dinner was no where near as good as lunch. The ribeye steak ($35) was not a ribeye - if it was, it was a horrible piece of meat. The lobster pappardelle with spicy peppers ($30) was beyond aldente...and utterly bland, bordering on tasteless - plus, not one hot cherry to be found. Come for the atmosphere (piano bar) and lunch/snacks but I'd definitely skip dinner here!

5 R I am so sorry your dinner entrees did not meet your expectations but your lunch and server at lunch you seemed very happy about. As FYI our meats are delivered from Le Freida butchers in NYC, we are one of 2 restaurants in Provincetown who have such service, i can assure you it was a RIBEYE, The Parpadelle is clearly described on our menu and it does not include "peppers" in the preparation of the dish so there should have been no expectation of finding any peppers in the dish. The Red peppers are reduced in the saute pan as the dish is prepared. We hope you can return and sample some other options at dinner. Rick Murray GM/Principal

Our room was super clean, comfortable, and even had a fireplace. The view of the beach and Cape Cod Bay were great. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. If you like to be in the center of all the action, this is the place.

What a great spot on Commercial St. The piano was going the whole bar was singing. Drinks are good too. Definitely recommend a visit here. Pretty sure the piano bar goes every night. They also have seating at the piano so you get right in the action. And yes they play request.

Should have written a review a bit quicker, but better late than never stayed at the crown and anchor in September for a week and as a single traveller I was made to feel very welcome. room had a nice view and enjoyed sitting on the terrace and relaxing. had dinner at central house every night as enjoyed the food, ambiance and the people so much. Rick, Michele and the whole team were always kind and chatty to me which made me return to the bar and restaurant every day. starting to plan my holiday for August so should be back. Cheers Olivier

Had a great time. Owner greated us at the door and showed that he had gives us each the best he had to offer. Definitely going to make this a yearly tradition. Rick is great - big red truck - and told it to look for it if we needed anything. Suggest it for anyone's bucket list!

This was not our first stay at the Crown and Anchor, but it was absolutely the best. From the hotel owner Rick helping me with the accommodations to Craig who took my reservation, the entire staff offered exceptional service and assistance. Our spacious and clean room looked out at the bay and reminded me of why I love Ptown. We didn't have to travel far for great food and drinks, as there is a restaurant and several bars on the property. We had an amazing seafood dinner at the Central House, prepared by Chef Michele's kitchen staff, and served to us by Michael, who is always wonderful. We then walked over to the Wave Bar and had amazing drinks while enjoying music and the bar's giant TV screen. The Crown offers a fun destination for whatever mood you may be in; there truly…

I stayed at the Crown and Anchor Inn this past year for part of a women's event. I arrived solo, expecting a friend the day after arrival. Well my friend was delayed, instead arriving a day later. I was alone, didnt know anyone else in Ptown at the time. Front desk manager Anthony Aoude made me feel so welcome knowing my situation. He suggested things to do in town, places to eat to keep me busy. He engaged me in conversation making me feel less lonely. I also had a terrible cold to boot and Mr. Aoude supplied me with his own cough drops. Absolutely amazing! The hotel was great and his exceptional service made me feel not as lonely as I would have felt elsewhere! I had to point this out. Thank you for making an otherwise boring stay a good one Anthony!

Stayed in a wonderful waterfront room with great balcony What a view! Best location where we could just walk out the front door and walk to any restaurant, bar, or shop on Commercial Street. Great shows right here.
