Shah Rukh Khan to reunite with Aditya Chopra for Pathaan 2, to go on floors in December - reports

Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan was one of the biggest hits of last year, smashing many records. For a while now, rumors have been rife that Aditya Chopra, who produced the movie and SRK, will reunite for Pathaan 2, and now there seems to be some development on that front!

According to a Pinkvilla report, the stage is now set for Pathaan 2. According to a source, this marks a significant twist in the YRF Spy Universe timeline - Pathaan 2 will precede Tiger vs.Pathaan, laying the groundwork for an epic clash between two cinematic legends on the silver screen. Shah Rukh Khan's portrayal of Pathaan has undeniably struck a chord with audiences, prompting a persistent demand to see more of SRK in the spy genre. The source also added that following its release in January 2023, Adi and SRK swiftly decided to expand Pathaan into a standalone franchise within the Spy Universe, with Aditya Chopra initiating plans for the sequel to this timeless blockbuster.
