Dr. David Stone is a scientist with a special interest in legends about the Okaloosa wilderness, where a violent, man-like beast is said to dwell, and where many campers have disappeared over the years. When local moneyman Milton St. John offers to fund an expedition to look for the monster, Stone readily accepts, not realizing that St. John's son was one of those missing campers, and that his financier is not interested in science, but in getting revenge on the beast!

Zero-budget SOV stupidity with literally the least convincing Bigfoot suit I've ever seen. I can't decide if Sasquatch rape is more distasteful when it's being played for laughs or when it's not.

This has all the right ingredients for SOV:
• A director that refuses to do another take as if they're shooting on expensive film and don't want to go over budget
• A monster suit they got from the Spirit of Halloween store
• Unsexy nudity
• Aimless meandering in the woods with atmospheric music and trippy editing
• Groups of fat dudes firing guns at stuff thinking they look cool
• Embarrassing sex scenes
• Short runtime
Recommended if you like that stuff too.
Absolutely nothing here makes sense here. Things are brought up To never be heard of again, there are a bunch of random shots that are left unexplained for usually a good 30 minutes, there are so many sounds added in that there are 5 layers of pure ear rape at times, there's a twist for NO reason, and the "Bigfoot" suit is clearly an ape suit.

Troppo amatoriale per essere preso sul serio. Fotografia da VHS andata a male, un Bigfoot dal costume osceno. L’aggravante è che alla mancanza di budget e di talento, si aggiunge uno pseudo plot in cui non succede quasi nulla e quando prova a farlo ci si affida a trovate stupide ai limiti dell’imbarazzo. Per dire, non si vedono le uccisioni di un Bigfoot che in compenso esegue due stupri di cui uno a pecorina, scena che ha lo stesso cattivo gusto di alcuni momenti unsexy nudity infilati praticamente a caso.

This movie is why I joined up on letterboxd. I needed to see if there are other people out there that are into this movie. To my great disappointment there isn’t...
If you’re into so-bad-they’re-good movies, this is an absolute epic. I saw it on a four movie dvd I think was called “Bigfoot terror”. Shriek of the Mutilated was pretty good , the other two were throwaways. Search for the beast, however is a gem. In this movie featuring a guy in a gorilla suit with a cracked out mask, the “acting” is ridiculous, in at least one scene our titular hero blatantly reads his lines (poorly) off a notebook.
