Sunday’s Wise Power 400 NASCAR Cup Series event marks the 32nd race hosted by Auto Club Speedway in the series’ history. The track held two races a season from 2004-2010, and has since hosted one race a year. The 2-mile tri-oval located in Fontana, California has an asphalt racing surface with 14 degrees of banking in each turn, 11 degrees on the front and 3 degrees on the backstretch. The track first opened in 1997, the Cup Series held its inaugural race and the hometown favorite Jeff Gordon won.
