Michelle’s 3-star review:
The one person working when we arrived was clearly overwhelmed. We were about 15 min. early, which she quickly and loudly pointed out to us while telling us we could wander around the store for a while as she was still with the previous customer.
Once it was our turn she was perfectly nice.
The studio itself is small, though not quite as small as the Richmond, CA studio. She looked to us for lots of direction for the poses, which was kinda annoying. We were hoping she would take control as there were 6 of us and we needed direction. She also kept telling my daughter's Grandma that she was too stiff. She happens to have excellent posture, which, I know, can come off as stiff, but that's who she is.
We have yet to pick up the pictures, but the proofs looked adequate. I couldn't get my normal $9.99 package. She said the company changed their packages, which is weird since I just got that package in Oakland a week or so before. Also, they had coupons for a free 10X13 on the counter, but when I tried to use it she told me it was expired.
No matter this awkwardness, Sear's is still a steal of a deal to get family portraits done.
