According to WTVA, a doctor has been charged with Manslaughter Culpable Negligence in connection with a wreck that happened on April 25.
The crash happened on Highway 72.
44-year-old Michael Hawley surrendered to police on Tuesday, May 7.
WTVA reports that Hawley’s car hit the victim’s SUV, killing 81-year-old William Pady from Glen.
Police charged an Alcorn County medical doctor following a fatal wreck in Corinth.
Investigators said that Hawley was driving recklessly at speeds over 100 mph in a 45 mph zone just before the crash.
