Scott Hemming is the Chief Operating Officer of Revolution Studios, responsible for the management of the company’s day-to-day operations, acquisitions and worldwide distribution strategy.
In 2014, Hemming and Chief Executive Officer Vince Totino led the sale of Revolution to funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group. The pair
also spearheaded the company’s current financing facility through a syndicate of lenders led by Sun Trust Bank.
Since joining the company in 2003 he has been instrumental in the financing, production, marketing and distribution of over 30 motion pictures and 200 episodes of television.
Hemming serves as an advisor to the Santa Monica based venture capital firm Canyon Creek Capital. Prior to joining Revolution, he was a creative executive at Artisan Entertainment, the independent film studio best known for The Blair Witch Project. Hemming has a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
