The hotel is located very near the park. In 5 minutes you can get from your room to the park. The rooms are spacious, the children have a small separated room with a double bed. Everything is clean. The hotel have well working wi-fi. The parking is free in one of the garage of the park. The children loved that you can borrow playmobil set for a deposit of 20 euros. The breakfast is great and it can be served in the HOB center. I can recommend the hotel if you want to visit the Playmobil Funpark.

We stayed for two days, with a night in the hotel. Hotel reception is not manned 1100 to 1600, so take a printed copy of your booking to get into the park first. Nice clean room. There is no option to eat after 1800, when the park closes as there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel. There is a parents’ room with microwave, so worth stocking up before you visit. Car parking is free at the hotel, but there is limited storage facility for luggage if on public transport (there are lockers in the park, but not big enough for a large suitcase). Breakfast is a 5 minute walk away in the park and was quite good.

A cheaper option would be a hotel in Fürth and separate day tickets for the park but this hotel is very handy when the children are worn out!

What a great place.
The hotel/Inn only has family rooms llike a mini apartment, a central bunk room and a twin parent room, lounge area, very nice bathroom - all playmobil themed. We were in the fireman room and my son loved it. There's no real services - it's just a block of mini flats really.
For a €20 deposit (no fee) you can choose a big tub of playmobil to keep in your room for the duration. The boxes are themed, my son chose "builder" and it contained all the very latest builder playmobil.
Everything very very clean.
Location was great for the funpark (it overlooks it) and you take your breakfast IN the funpark in the morning. However, you can't walk anywhereelse but we drove into Zirndorf in the evening and were pleasantly surprised - we were expecting an industrial town but it was in fact very clean and tidy with lots of small, inexpensive restaurants / inns.
My son LOVED the playmobil funpark - no big rides just lots of good honest fun and we will come back if we get the opportunity - if we do we would def stay at the Inn again.

We stayed here July 2012 for my daughters 10th birthday in between a 2 day visit to the Fun Park, which is amazing!
You can park under the hotel, just take a ticket-it says 4 euros for a day but when you check in the hotel the receptionist will give you a ticket to exit the car park free when you leave.
The room-610 was light, airy and spacious.Nice and cool too ( air con in the room). Theres a colourful soft seating area to relax on and a dining table where the girls played with their Playmobil toys.
The beds are twins pushed together and have the most comfortable mattress and bedding I've ever slept in.Could have slept all day ,had the fun park not been waiting for us.The girls had bunk beds, where a little Playmobil gift was waiting on each bed for them.
The whole room was open plan, although the bunk area could be sectioned off by pulling a screen closed to make a bedroom, or leaving it open for children who may be afraid on their own.
Blackout curtains and outside blinds enabled a good night's sleep.
A small swivel t.v was by the bedroom and a microwave, fridge and kettle in the hall way and a further storage /seating area.
The bathroom was beautiful and everything was clean and well looked after.Towels are provided. The shower was powerful and refreshing after a hot day in the park.
The room was very spacious and there is plenty of room for a family of 4.
As room 610 is at the end of the building it was peaceful and quiet,no one walking by.Although we never saw any other guests whilst there, even though the hotel was full.
On floor 5 there is a play area with some Playmobil and you can hire a box of toys for a deposit of 20 euros to take to your room.

For breakfast we were given a wristband and went over the road to the restaurant in the fun park. Here we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast of hot food, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and yoghurt and delicious pastries and bread.Hot drinks, juices and smoothies. Well worth the extra money and all served in the lovely park restaurant which was restful and practically empty.

This hotel is a fabulous place to stay if you are visiting the park or in the area. The 2000+ miles we travelled from the U.K was well worth it!
Tips- book early in advance as it gets full quick. If it is full keep checking your dates as if reservations aren't confirmed the room will be let out again.

I stayed there for one night to see the wonderful playmobil park. It's a great place to go with the family, the rooms are suited specially for kids. They have a double deck bed, all the attention is wonderfull, everything is made for the kids, even a small bench for the kids to reach the faucets and you can have a whole playmobil box for the night to play. They receive you with a small playmobil for the kids, Beds are very comfortable and of ocurse it's across of the playmobil park.

We loved this hotel. Our 7 year old son considered himself on another planet. Playmobil planet. The room and the premises does not meet any luxury standard, but it is suitable for the purpose that it serves. From outside the building looks very cold and ordinary, but once inside everything is different. The breakfast is trully awesome. Everything is freshly made and you cannot choose what to start from. Breakfast in this place, with your kids, is an experience on its own. The parking place is huge and it is safe as the whole area. It is far away from Nurnberg city center, but this is minor issue. Also consider that there is no staff member around after 22 o'clock or something. Despite some minor issues it worths every cent.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was large, airy and gave our toddler ample room to run and build his train track without getting in the way. The childrens room was a good size and fitted with bed sides which was a real relief as our little boy often falls out of bed. He was very happy to find a little Playmobil toy left on his pillow (a lovely touch). His room was completely dark at night which was great. Night lights were in the corridor by the bathroom which was very useful. The huge wall if windows had black out curtains as well as electric blinds in the outside which really helped to keep our room dark (useful if your child still naps at lunchtime).

The staff were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help find us a screwdriver when we wanted to make our son his pirate ship, which we appreciated.

The breakfast was in the Hob centre on the park site. It was amazing value and a lovely experience for our son.

We will be staying again next year!

The place is is not child friendly
Hotel is mainly for people with children but they have no laundry service, no washing machine and just ressomeneed to look for laundry in the Zirndorf.
Staff is the hotel is not very friendly and helpful
Major staff don’t speak english
If you want to go to breakfast which is 100 meters from hotel after 9:00 then you have to wait 10-15 minutes with other guests which are not from hotel and they don’t care
The hotel manager is parking her black VW the way to show that she is the boss there. Just next to entrance and don’t park inside.
If you expect to have service this is not the place you need to go.

A short, one night, stay during the 3rd visit of Playmobil Fun Park.
PROS: Nice and stylish hotel which children will love. Nice decorated and clean rooms. Great breakfast. Close to the Fun park.
CONS: Very expensive. Troubles with receptionist - we have received a call couple of hours ofter check-out and receptionist said to my wife that want to speak with me. When my asked why, the receptionist repeated that wants to talk to me (husband) otherwise will call the police. My wife speaks very well German, but was not able to get an answer what is going on. After I took the phone, the receptionist told me, that we have stolen the box with Playmobil toys which we lend for €20 deposit for our kinds the night before. I was trying to explain her that we returned the box, but she still wanted to call the police. After a couple of minutes of discussion I mentioned that the box with "Camping set" was returned and I receive the €20 back - she said "You have had a Caping box? We are looking for "Dragons" "Sorry, than it is solved" nad canceled the call. It was quite frustrating to think about Police will come after us during our visit at the Park. We spent hundreds of EURo in the hotel and the park and I would not expect that the hotel stuff will be so arogant and trying to call the Police to chase us....

This was our third visit to the hotel, twice before the renovation, once after.
On the plus side: the rooms are still a very good size, parking included and fantastic breakfast in the Hob Center. The renovation is good quality and includes 'themed rooms' but these are just plastic pictures of playmobil on the walls.

What we found really odd is that there is no longer any Playmobil for the kids to play with. The boxes you could borrow (for a deposit) are gone, and the play room has now been converted into an odd social room for adults (think doctors waiting room!) but with no social/cooking facilities beyond a limited cold vending machine. When we questioned why there was no playmobil in the playmobil hotel we were told it was because too much was being stolen. Why not just put some in each themed room, then if it 'walks' at least you have the details of the people who stayed in the room? When we questioned why the mini kitchen area had been removed we were told it was because of fire regulations. This means you can no longer make a hot drink in the hotel. Odd how most other hotels can at least provide a kettle?

The other part of the renovation which put us off is that the bunk beds in the kids part of the room have been removed and replaced by a small double bed (1.5 times singe bed). Not great if you have wriggly kids in the night who wake each other up!

In future I would just stay in a local hotel at half the price and just pay to have the fantastic Hob breakfast, staying in the hotel just isn't as fun for us any more.

Hi If you google playmobil aparthotel, send an enquiry through their contact email. We booked directly with them via email (around €130 per night from what I remember) It's great, you'll have a fab time. We stayed for 3 nights in summer. If you're planning on a winter trip, I think some of the outdoor bits might close - so worth checking.
