- backwaterboyNelson, Wisconsin59 contributionsGreat stayWe stopped here for a night on our 2 week motorcycle adventure out west and it was an awesome stay for us. First its a very well maintained and clean hotel and casino. But the best is the whole staff is very polite and they go out of there way to be helpful. We enjoyed the variety of slot machines and the food was goodVisited July 2023Written July 19, 2023
- newmexicowboyFarmington, New Mexico3 contributionsEhhhStayed there Thursday/Friday and room is nice but the casino took the live craps out and the the craps/roulette game is out of order. They say there is going to be a poker tournament in September but haven't trained the dealers. Sports book open from 11-5 and can't cask winning tickets after 5. Left early Saturday and the tickets only good for 30 days! Basically a slot house for nowVisited July 2023Written July 24, 2023
- Jim APortland, Maine1,342 contributionsCute Little CasinoCame here as part of a stay and gambled a little. Its a nice little casino, but I have to say, the drive here was amazing. Nestled in a scenic valley, its a nice gaming stop if you are passing through like we were. I recommend it.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 10, 2023
- tattooedtraveller_ukNorwich, United Kingdom622 contributionsodd place. The lady on check in was quite aggressive, she couldn't find my UK address on her system, so there was a lot of huffing. I booked through Hotels.com so they would have had the relevant details, so I don't see what the issue was at all. My room was nice. None of the food places were open, even though it was not a night for everything to be closed (I am talking 6pm, not late), no reason given for things to be closed. The place is dismal, staff looked bored. A really odd place.Visited October 2023Traveled soloWritten October 25, 2023

Entire casino is still stuck in deep COVID mode with masks required everywhere and temperature taken at the only entrance. Two of three restaurants were closed, take out orders were not allowed and it took 15 minutes to be seated and our food took 45 minutes to arrive. Staff was friendly enough and the hotel room was okay but the hassle getting in and getting fed was not worth it.

Sports Book restaurant refused to do a take out order or allow us to order an extra meal at our table. No other food options near the hotel. Vending machines don’t work, with sign that no funds will be refunded. Should have put my $10 in a slot machine. Staff don’t care, poorly run facility, pick a hotel in town. Save the hassle and troubles.

What a great hotel and casino. We came for a little getaway from Montana and having been to Vegas we were excited to see what Riverton Wy had to offer. When we walked in we were greeted by a very cheerful and helpful front desk attendant. Our room was larger than expected and very clean. We had the smoked platter at the Sportbook restaurant and the chili cheese fries for the appetizer. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. Definitely recommend coming here and we’ll be back.

Although the casino is small, there was a fairly good variety of slot machines. Every other slot was disabled due to COVID restrictions. Temperatures were taken and masks required. The customer service staff was exceptional. I won, my husband lost but we took home some winnings. The restaurant was very disappointing. There service was poor, the prime rib and lobster overcooked and the baked potato was undercooked.

I would like to address the live poker games at the Wind River Casino. While playing in a tournament, I called out Gary, the apparant supervisor. It was evident that he was skimming the buy in monies. When confronted, he gave me back my buy in fees. Note that I was the chip leader when I walked out. Be careful, this guy was making up rules as the game progressed. He could not even provide me with the first, second and third place payouts.

First offf the picture of this place is horrible. It’s more like an oasis in a barren land . However, the main restaurant, Red Willow- they almost tried to talk us out of entering. “Do you know about our limited menu??” Etc. Service slow, onion soup cold. And we’re still waiting on our entrees. Good luck people.

They have stopped caring. We used this as a short get away when ever we wanted a breather from life. This time it was a mess. Our room was dirty. A grape and popcorn on the floor and this was in a pet room. Not one restaurant was open. So if you're hungry you have to leave to eat or bring something back. I don't mind the one door thing but it's a pain when you want to check in. We get to the hotel part to check in there's a sign that says will be back in 15 minutes. So we stand around waiting. Players club same sign but wouldn't be back for a couple hours. We won't be back until they can get it together.

Almost all amenities were closed or canceled. On the website nothing was canceled and it look like it was a destination worthy of staying. No pool no hot tub only one restaurant open no museum. And staff was snippy about everything we ask about.

Our favorite casino is open again! Masks are required, and every other slot machine is turned off, but great fun. Won some money. One big change.. it is now non-smoking. Smokers are directed to an outdoor area to smoke. Its all good!

Hello! Yes, our hotel is attached to the casino. Right outside the lobby are gaming machines that continue through out. It is a few minutes walk to the tablegames area and restaurants.
Our hotel and restaurants are non-smoking and there is a designated non-smoking slots area; rest of the gaming floor allows smoking.
Hope you come for a visit!

I'd like to have information on the Native American dances. My granddaughters will be in Riverton around June 8.
