Fifty years later, AFI has now honored 49 remarkable talents and will celebrate the 2024 honoree Nicole Kidman with an AFI Life Achievement Award in April.

I have every AFI Award show on tape. I have watched them all multiple times. It doesn’t get any better than AFI’s presentation of these shows. Watching the love outpouring to James Stewart, Henry Fonda and James Cagney is palpable. Or how about the last time Walter Pidgeon and Greer Garson appeared together. I will be watching for sure.
