@Dragonfireball20 Halcyon didnt do anything to the SAM's. The only way for them to deal with the SAM's would be to either hack them (which means they could've gotten rose to be transfered to a less secure location and then just send us to shoot 20 people) or to fire missiles at them with a plane or heli which would be blown out of the sky long before it finished the job.

Game logic I guess.

To go more in depth you're either saying Halcyon literally just lied for no reason (which would only be hurting themselves because Falcon needs to get there to complete the mission) or the mission intel screen isn't what The Freelancer was actually told which makes no sense because why would something that makes no appearance in the game even be included if it wasn't to give lore information

1. Hacking can't work, SAM don't need internet! (duh)

2. In EP digital stuff much secure, blacksite may not have internet either (to hack you need to physically go to pc, meaning a local network)

3. However nothing stops halcyon from walking up to one and shooting people and missiles (if there are any) It would just set off alarms and the air force would come in

4. Actually, the blacksite transfer have to faked (The logistics of hack: simontinously hack multiple locations and convince helicopter pilot& crew & commander to get rose)

The black site transfer wasn't getting the pilots, it was just authorizing it so that Steel Cove wouldn't raise the alarm and take down Falcon with the AA turrets
