This review is long overdue. I surprised my now fiance during a ramen class last May at the ICC in SOHO, and asked her to marry me. We love ramen, and I knew this would definitely surprise her. Everyone was so accommodating, they even had the pastry department bake a special cake to celebrate our engagement. Thank you for helping me surprise my fiance and making our proposal a little extra special.

I took a Thai cooking class here. First, what a beautiful facility! State of the art kitchen. Great views from our kitchen classroom.
Our teacher was outstanding - smart, easy-going approach to recreational cooking, fun. We made a delicious meal, which we enjoyed together. I learned how to put together some tasty dishes.
The one problem were some of the other students. Two women talked the entire time and unfortunately were next to me. I couldn’t hear the instructor over their chit chat. One other lady on our team was pushy and wanted to do all the cooking - she ruined two recipes, by not following the recipe. One had to be tossed, one she forgot to add the most important item - the chicken! If you’re not interested in learning, why did you come?
Great class, beautiful facility and fun instructor- a few of the other students ruined what could have been a stellar experience for me.

I took two, one day (4 hour) classes at the ICC recently with mixed feelings about their value. If you sign up, be aware that you will be very, very busy making the recipes and won't have much time to ask questions. Some of the equipment is in limited supply so you will need to spend time running around trying to find an available whisk for example. Not a good class for newbie cooks, the assumption is that they don't have to teach you how to do basics like break eggs and use a saute pan. I wish they allowed genuine time to just stop and let us ask questions about what we were doing and why but the goal is to make X number of foods and finish in 4 hours. I won't be signing up for any more classes due to the extreme pace and lack of actual information on what we were doing.

My husband and I went during the restaurant week for the $38.00 per course. My duck breast was perfectly made and beautifully present. My husband loved his monkfish. The appetizer and desert was also beautiful. Excellent !!

I've always been interested in drinking wine, but I've always wanted to learn more about it. The wine uncorked class was an excellent introductory class to wine. The instructor gave a good 2 hour overview of tasting, different types of wine, and wine pairing. After the lecture, we dived right into the tasting. We observed, smelled, and tasted 9 different wines. Overall, the class was very enlightening and increased my interest even more in wine! I would give 5 stars, however, the class was a bit expensive.

All day touring in the red buses, we are lost and nowhere to have a lunch, we saw the place and come inside with any expectation, the food was wonderful, everything clean, the bread tastes like caviar and the burger was very very good.
Not very good service, but if you are near, definitely go visit!

The food was very good, the service almost very good and the wine tasting took the meal over the top. And, it didn't break the bank.

It seems that every time we go to L'Ecole, the food gets better than perfect, and the service is always perfect as well. Our luncheon was excellent--as always. The food is hot or cold as it should be served. The hanger steak is excellent and always a good choice. This restaurant is always worth a visit. Enjoy!
