This was a 1986 reunion bringing back most of the characters from The Andy Griffith Show. It begins with Andy Taylor returning to Mayberry and planning to run for his old job of Sheriff but when he arrives, he discovers that his old deputy and friend, Barney Fife, is planning to run also. So Andy decides to back down. And at the same time there are some strange things going on, and Barney's stumped, so Andy has to help him out. Also Barney's planning to propose to his old girlfriend Thelma Lou, and Opie, Andy's son is about to become a father.

Sad but loved it
I loved the fact that it brought back pleasant memories of the beloved show that I absolutely loved as a child. Tbh, I was older before I ever watched it, I just did not watch much television as a child. I was also saddened by the fact that Betty Lynn recently passed away. It gave me the same feeling about The Golden Girls, love watching these shows but sad that almost all of the Characters are no longer with us. Betty White and Ron howard along with us little brother are still here as of today. Thanks for the walk down memory lane and hope to watch many more classics through this site.
