A shaggy little junkie drama à la The Panic in Needle Park or Heaven Knows What that plops you verité-style into Vancouver’s infamous Downtown Eastside neighbourhood.
I pass right through the epicentre of this area every day, but I travel via bus, rarely taking to the streets. This film puts you right in the fray of these streets, and even lets you peer behind its closed doors—albeit, these streets and doors as they existed in 2003.
