Take The Crown era il disco che mancava alla mia collezione di Robbie! Imperdibile! "Different" è una canzone emozionante e coinvolgente come un po' tutto il disco! Se non lo avete dovete acquistarlo!

A parte quello il resto è abbastanza ok,il disco in se si lascia ascoltare. Come per tutti gli altri precedenti album però,anche questo è 10 livelli sotto ad "I've been expecting you"

Ho sempre reputato TAKE THE CROWN uno degli album più belli del re del pop Robbie Williams quindi affrettatevi ad ascoltarlo ed acquistarlo e questa edizione in doppio vinile è strepitosa....raccomandata....e che prezzo per un doppio vinile....da avere!!!

As a long time and devoted fan of Robbie Williams I was blown away by Take the Crown. Although Robbie has had some tough times he has clearly come through it a "better man" and this CD shows it. I've always appreciated and admired Robbie's lyrics for their honesty and truth and you really get a feel for how he feels at this time in his life; happy and content. It is upbeat, funny and heartfelt with each song geting better and better the more you listen. It has always been a mystery to me why North America never caught on to Robbie Williams as he is incredibly talented. 100% worth owning.

This is an amazing album! Almost EVERY sone could be a single, and standouts include "Different", "Gospel", "Not Like The Others", "Hunting For You", and "Into The Silence".

"Candy" is a straightforward pop song that I suppose could have been sung by anyone, but still a lot of fun regardless.

Forget the naysayers, forget the critics that claim Robbie is past his prime and no longer has his fingers on the pulse of pop music, forget the whiners who complain that the style of his Guy Chambers collaborations is no longer present - good artists adapt and stay relevant way past their prime, and as long as it's a good song and Robbie is singing, I am happy!

Simply put, I feel this album is one that any true Robbie Williams fan will cherish, and even non-Robbie fans can enjoy. As far as I am concerned, this is a return to form for Mr. Williams, and hopefully we will get lots more. Robbie Forever!

Von Anfang an war ich in dieses Album verliebt, wollte meiner Kritik allerdings Zeit geben, da man ein Album wohl erst nach langer Zeit objektiv bewerten kann.
Nun 1 Jahr später muss ich dennoch sagen: Take The Crown ist genau das Robbie Album auf das ich solange gewartet habe!
Seit Escapology das beste Werk! Ich finde jedes Top-Album muss einen speziellen eigenen Klang & Character haben und Take The Crown gibt es vom Sound wohl kein 2. Mal da draußen:
Pop und Rock mit tollen (neumodischen) elektronischen Einflüssen (aber nicht zuviel).
01 Be A Boy (10/10)
Hammer Song, Text, Melodie, Musik... Und live erst!

02 Gospel (9/10)
Ein wirklich cooler Song eignet sich super zum mit singen und abrocken.

03 Candy (10/10)
Da muss man ja nicht mehr viel sagen, einer der größten Robbie Hits.

04 Different (10/10)
Diese Ballade kam im Radio deutlich zu kurz, ein wirklich kreativer Streich der von ergreifend bis mitreißend alles umfasst. Hut ab.

05 S*** On The Radio (9/10)
Party Song, vor allem super produziert.

06 All That I Want (8/10)
Mochte ich zuerst nicht aber mit einigem Hören wurde der Song immer besser und cooler.

07 Hunting For You (9/10)
Das hätte wohl die 4. Single sein müssen?? Einfach der perfekte (Radio)Pop Song.

08 Into The Silence (10/10)
Eines der besten Robbie Lieder aller Zeiten! Klingt wie U2 gesungen von Rob, besser geht es nicht!!

09 Hey Wow Yeah & 10 Not Like The others (10/10)
Einmal Rock á la Life thru a lens bzw. Escapology! Hammer!

11 Losers (7/10)
Der einzige Song mit dem ich persönlich nicht viel anfangen kann...trotzdem gelungen.

12 Reverse (9/10)
Wieso Bonus Track? Der gehört zu den besten auf dem Album! Rockig, eingängig, klasse!

13 Eight letters (10/10)
Zu Progress Zeiten kursierte ein Youtube video von Robbie wie er 8 Letters eingesungen hat,
endlos viele Kommentare, die alle nicht verstehen konnten wieso diese meisterleistung nicht veröffentlicht wurde.
Save the best for last: awesome!

Wenn manche hier (total voreingenommen) das Album bzw. RW schlecht reden, dann ganz einfach die Frage: Was für eine Art Album hättet ihr gerne von ihm?
..oder habt ihr teilweise nicht völlig falsche Erwartungen/Auffassungen?
Das hier ist Robbie Williams zu 100% - Nicht wie auf Progress, Reality killed the video star oder Intensive Care!
