The food was excellent and the server talented and nice. The only reason that it is not 5 stars is that they are still currently renovating the upstairs. Also, be aware that to get upstairs, which is the quieter part of the restaurant, requires one to ascend a rather steep staircase---I am not sure if they have an elevator.

We had a wonderful time with excellent food. Our waitress, who is also the bartender made wonderful drinks, gave excellent recommendations, there was a fabulous happy hour, and the pizza was beyond. We will be back.

Ave’s is a St. Michael’s favorite. Pizza is their specialty, but they have other options, including good salads. Not too many options for vegetarians on the menu, but you can always fine something. It’s a more upscale pizza place with dining in the bar, outside, and on the enclosed back patio. It’s a very good choice.

We felt really special for our random Friday night date night. Ava's was the spot of our first date over 10 years ago and we enjoyed ourselves for dinner. Pizza was very good and the beignets are awesome! I had added a few notes to our reservation and the server mentioned them which was really nice. Notes - Sound level is a little loud, though not unbearable and they get busy early!

The food and drinks were great as always! We got the Caesar Salad, Detroit Style Pizza and bottle of French Red. All were great!
