We believe passionately in a rounded education and that’s why our admissions process is designed to allow children to showcase their true potential in whatever area that may be. Our assessments appeal to the intellectually curious and those prepared to ‘have a go’. They help us identify the children who will flourish at LWC and will enjoy being members of our happy and vibrant community.

Each year, we welcome around 65 children into Junior House in Year 7 (1st Form) and 65 into the Senior School in Year 9 (3rd Form). In addition, we welcome applications for Year 8 and Year 10 entry alongside a significant cohort joining for the Sixth Form years.

Below, you’ll find more information about each of our entry points, but if you are ready to register, please click here.

THE FOUNDATION

Through our Foundation we support children who have lost the support of one or both parents, primarily through bereavement. We give them the space to live, learn and grow within a supportive boarding school environment where they gain strength and confidence in knowing that they are not alone in facing these difficult circumstances.
