Jaime King, the American actress, has recently encountered challenging times, primarily due to a dispute with her ex-husband. Photographs taken over the weekend captured her distressed state, shedding light on her current struggles.
King, who began her career as a model after being discovered at 14 during the 90s, graced the covers of magazines like "Vogue" and "Harper's Bazaar." However, she soon transitioned to acting, making her debut in "Pearl Harbor" in 2001 and later appearing in "Sin City," "My Bloody Valentine 3D," and alongside Sylvester Stallone in the "Escape Plan" series.
Despite a successful professional journey, King's personal life has been less than stellar lately. Recent images showed her in tears, stuck in traffic, a moment many speculate stems from her ongoing legal battle with her ex-husband, Kyle Newman.
A few weeks ago, King sought to amend the alimony agreement with Newman, father of their two sons, James Knight (10) and Leo Thames (8). In her petition, she expressed her inability to continue with the agreed alimony payments, prompting her to request the nullification of their April 2022 marriage agreement.
The submission highlighted Newman's achievements and his current marriage to singer Cyn, against whom King is battling. Newman retorted that King had neglected child and spousal support mandates for over a year and resisted finalizing their divorce settlement. In response, a court in mid-April found King's request baseless and dismissed it.

The tumultuous divorce between Jaime King and Kyle Newman was far from amicable. After 13 years of marriage, King filed for divorce in May 2020, securing a temporary restraining order against Newman, whom she accused of aggression and manipulation. Newman countered with claims of substance abuse and infidelity, allegations King's representatives dismissed as attempts to exploit her and manipulate the judicial system.

Their divorce concluded in September 2023. King ordered Newman to pay $429 monthly for child support, 16 percent of any income exceeding $175,344 annually, $1,000 monthly for spousal support, and 10 percent of any additional earnings, above the annual threshold. These payments will continue until either party's death or King's remarriage.
