NEW DELHI: The Indian Army has invited applications for unmarried male candidates for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES 50) course 2024. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form from June 1, 2024, by visiting the official website at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to fill out the application form is June 30.

Candidates are required to have a valid Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 score to fill out the Indian Army TES 50 application form. As per the official notice, the Indian Army TES comprises a 5-year training programme including basic military and technical training. On successful completion, candidates will be granted permanent commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant.

The TES is a national-level examination conducted twice a year for the recruitment of officers into the technical branch of the Indian Army, leading to the grant of a permanent commission in the Army's technical division. Candidates who join the Indian Army through TES will have the opportunity to earn an engineering degree while serving their country.

Indian Army TES 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for Indian Army TES 2024 given below.

Age limit: The candidate's age should be between 16½ years and 19½ years on the first day of the month when the course is set to begin. Candidates must have been born between July 2, 2004, and July 1, 2007, inclusive of both dates.

Educational qualification:

  • Candidates should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics from recognized education boards.

  • Candidate must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2023.
