Large crowds but still fun. Was able to do a couple rides before lunch. Just make sure to wear good shoes you’ll be doing a lot of walking.

This is a fabulous observatory with lots of exhibits on space, you get nice views of Hollywood and the Hollywood sign. There is even a section you can go in and view through a telescope but it had a huge queue, so we went to the Astronomers who had different smaller telescopes dotted around the grounds to see different planets. It's a really nice building and great place to visit.

The only downside was the transport up there. There is limited parking so they have shuttle buses, but these are rammed ridiculously full, there aren't enough of them as we passed 2 very full stops as we were full, and the roadway it clogged by people trying to park higher up despite limited spaces so they blocked the roads and it took ages to get up and down. Ideally the road needs blocking off to all vehicles except the shuttles and those with disability badges (if parking available). And more shuttles are needed too.

Incredible - don’t miss. The architecture and landscaping design is top notch, with multiple gardens and buildings. Inside , a variety of art and free audio guides , free frequent tram to the parking area below, gorgeous views over LA.

I’ve been before so decided to bring my brother as we both love cars and he loves the Delorean so it was a must. I think it was about £20 roughly each which is great price. The good thing is they change the cars so not always the same. Some stunning cars for everyone to see.

Great arena to watch basketball - and as a bonus Lakers won! Had access to the AmEx Centurion Lounge that was cool - 2 free drinks and somewhere to relax before the game. Would love to return next time we are in LA

My wife and I spent about 2 hours touring the museum and walking around the grounds. We both agreed that the overall experience exceeded our expectations and the museum was truly a highlight. We are not big museum people but the exhibits in this museum are interesting and engaging. The museum volunteers roam the exhibits and offer additional insights which are helpful and round out the experience. We also enjoyed seeing the fossil lab and watching actual fossil cleaning work in process. The outside exhibits were helpful in increasing our understanding of the nature and composition of the area and added to the realness of the overall visit. We definitely recommend stopping by for a visit. The museum parking lot is convenient although certainly a bit pricey.

One of my favorite places on my first trip to LA was Griffith Park so I had to bring my friends. Two of the best things to see in the park are the Griffith Observatory and Mount Hollywood, which is the peak directly opposite the observatory and one of the highest points in the Hollywood Hills, so it has great views of the city. However, Mount Hollywood is not the same peak with the sign, but you do get some great views of the sign hiking between the observatory and the peak. Also parking here, there are public restrooms before you start or when you return.

It is one of the perfect urban hikes at 2.5 miles with 500 feet of elevation gain. There is also free parking if you go early before the observatory opens. We went on the last morning of our vacation so we could make the hike and get back to our hotel to shower before hotel check out. It is great exercise and the best way to start the day.

The day we hiked was not as clear as my first visit, so the views were not as crisp. Despite this the clouds and humidity, you still had great views and this time the moisture meant there was more greenery and flower for the hike. In late March the hike was cool but not cold so simply perfect. Everyone in our group of 12 loved the hike with incredible views of the observatory, downtown and the "Hollywood" sign. I cannot recommend this more, both times it was my favorite activity in LA.

Nice mall in beautiful setting. The connected farmers market is more interesting. Good way to spend a few hours, we had lunch at the Marmalade café which was nice with good friendly service

This building is an architectural monument. Spending time by observing the curves of the exterior walls is something not to miss in Los Angeles. Superb acoustic design of the interior is worth mentioning. I love it. Visit the shop and see the high quality miscellaneous objects to buy.

Came with a tour on a Sunday morning, there was a lowrider show going on. Venice Beach is a grimmer, grittier cousin to Santa Monica, but that’s what gives it its charm. Only bad part was the lack of benches or places to sit, which might be to keep the homeless folks out…But it also keeps people from really enjoying the Venice Beach Boardwalk. I liked watching the people and seeing the cars
