The story wasn't really holding my attention, but many of the characters did. Sure, you got to love Jane Withers, and her sidekick Ben Carter even more so! Add a bunch more likable people and you'll find pleasure in this well-meaning small town affair, even if it becomes obvious why it's been forgotten all these years.
