- Greg StevensSydney, Australia2,332 contributionsThere is a lot of walking to be done, but you can catch a cart to get around. We only did the West Gate area, which had lots of Botany and kids play areas. Across the road to the park entry, there were hotels, eateries and a fountain! There is a subway station just out the front of this magic mountain!
To do this well maintained park justice, you’ll need between 4 to 6 hours!Written January 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ธิติ ต39 contributionsThe Anthropology Museum of Guangxi is the best place to learn about the Bronz Drum and Zhuang Cultures of the region. The exhibitions are very well organized and easy to understand with both Chinese and English. The displays are just enough for the audience to know about the Zhuang nation. The building is very well designed to reflect the story it is telling. Visitors need to spend some time outdoor waling in the display garden where 10 most representative traditional ethnic buildings are being exhibited. Half-a-day should be enough for all people unless you are a serious museum visitors.Written November 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 2015Family6Singapore, Singapore182 contributionsDeTian Waterfall is about 5 hours outside of Nanning Downtown. Recommended to leave early morning for a fruitful visit. Upon arriving at this Natural Waterfall, we were impressed by the size of this Waterfalls (more than 10 falls) within the park. The Vietnamese border is just a stone throw away on the opposite bank of the waterfall.Written February 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ipekyolu2016Sydney, Australia33 contributionsThis is a large park just outside the ring road on the north east side of nanning. It has a lot of plants, ponds, gardens etc. There is a large lake in the park which you could walk around on the previous visit, on the latest visit that part was closed because they were digging a giant new sewer underneath it, or something. At the main entrance of the park, there are two alleys of shops on one side and three on the other side, where they are selling fancy furniture and houseplants and carved stones and fancy tea sets and aquarium fish and a lot of fairly high end decor stuff, quite interesting to browse around, more interesting than most of the other shops and malls in nanning. This park is fairly easy to get to, a lot of the buses run right past the entrance. In busy traffic times, it might be 40 minutes from downtown, otherwise 20 minutes. There is also one bus which goes to the south entrance, so you can walk from one end of the park to the other without backtracking too much.Written July 23, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
