[Discussion] Battle Cat Uber Rare Tier List v8.7

Hey, that's not Gaia review. That just me flexing my boosted Legend collection. Basically a shitpost.

Here is my take on Gaia:

1. Insane DMG vs all traited enemy. Effective DPS is 28.5k. That's almost 3x times of Amaterasu. In literal sense, each of her attack has same destruction with Amaterasu. So even if enemy doesn't receive full attack from her, the DMG is still big. She straight up murders anyone who oppose her

2. Her multihit is also placed neatly. The tempo is not too fast and too slow. It allows her second or third attack to connect on any knocked enemy.

3. However, she possesses one big annoying weakness. Her LD is probably one worst in the game. The blind spot is 350. Her inner range is just 50. With one small push, a lot of enemy can enter her blindspot. To make her worse, her KB is just 2x, so she only has 1 chance to reposition herself.

tl;dr: High destruction but low accuracy and survivability. High risk, high reward unit. I won't give her SS tier. S is best place for her.

Seems like this is just your own tier list and not a consensus of the overall community. It’s very misleading to post it as such.

1. I'm pretty sure that DPS = Damage/TBA, not Damage/(TBA+AT)

2. That DPS tier breakdown is seriously weird. You make some gradual DPS breakdowns by tiers, then BAM a single tier contains 5 times the dps. That kinda reads as: "A and lower is ranked by DPS, A+ and higher by utility".

5k and 7k dps are 2 tiers apart, but 7k and 20k are in same tier?

3. No penalty for single-target dps?

Putting legend rares and legends into one tier list is dumb, just because they share "legend" in their names. And sorry but i cant take a tierlist seriously that includes pc ubers that have been removed for half a year while inventing dumb names for units with NP upgrades because it gets clicks on YouTube. Seriously? Demon Cat???

Why include PC exclusive Ubers the PC version doesn't exist anymore? Legeluga also rated too highly, I would rate her B to B+.

Why is Gilgamesh S tier?

Imo Pai Pai is better than 02, and Galaxy Cosmo should be at least an A.

My first uber was D'arktanyan and I am glad that he is one of the best ubers

So, I will to properly explain how I grade my units. I grade them mostly by overall DPS (Damage / TBA + Attack Time)

A+: >30000

A: 6000 - 30000

A-: 5250 - 6000

B+: 4250 - 5250

B: 3000 - 4250

B-: 1500 - 3000

C+: <1500

But certain units can get a grade up if:

1. They have immunity to more than four debuffs.

2. They have range => 450 and knockbacks > 3 (might be one grade separately, varies). Another grade up if range is above 500, and one more above 550. Grade also up by one if health is above 100k (Jizo and Ushi).

3. They have abilities that target 3 or more types of enemies.

4. They have both resistance and massive / insane damage to one type of enemy.

5. They are cheap and rechargeable (Less than 3600-4000¢ and less than 60 - 75 seconds). Varies with Cat, actually.

6. For defensive units, if they are actually fast or have more than 2 knockbacks, they have a grade up as well.

7. For Suicide Attacker Units (Bahamut, Yukimura, Lil Valk, Legeluga), if range is 300 or more, one grade up.

Note: Strengthen and Wave Attack Damage Amplifiers are included

Also, what brings a unit down, is when they have bad speed (when not supposed to be defensive units) and bad health and range (when not supposed to be Suicide Attacker). And of course, single target.

New Bomburr variant will not be included.
