- It sounds amazing and they took away machine screw and kill all the white people which i used to always skip thru anyways to replace with the song suspended in dusk which is not bad, and it vibes with the album perfectly, the alternate track order flows nicely too i don't miss the old order/flow of the album!! \m/
- Good sounding release however, plenty of clicks and humming sound on side 1. Not the most silent Type O Negative release. Records placed in white paper envelopes and lots of paper residues. In my opinion, for the price poly lined sleeves should be used.
- Can someone help me? This is billed as a July release date, but obviously people have it. It’s available on the Type O website and is in stock, which I’m assuming is where people here got it.
Is the July release a different pressing from what people have already gotten? If not, why the delay? - Can someone help me? This is billed as a July release date, but obviously people have it. It’s available on the Type O website and is in stock, which I’m assuming is where people here got it.
Is the July release a different pressing from what people have already gotten? If not, why the delay? - Once again Run Out Groove delivers! Although they seem to have cut some production costs compared to their previous Type O releases (no poster, polylined inners, or 180 grams vinyl) this is still a real treat, as the sound quality is as great as expected: clear, dynamic and punchy, especially the drums and Pete's bass sound super crisp! The vinyl itself is quiet, with no issues at all. I also prefer this version of the album, Suspended In Dusk is effing epic!
The only thing that bothers me is that once the new issue of Life Is Killing Me is out, we got the whole Type O catalogue on great sounding ROG vinyl, except Dead Again, which got a shitty Nuclear Blast issue that didn't get the same care soundwise. - Le son est trés bon, je confirme ce qui ce dit ici, et d'ailleurs c'est ce qui m'a convaincu de le prendre. De plus je préfère largement cette version de l'album à l'officielle.
- Finally widely available in Europe! Happy to report that this is an excellent pressing! Everything sounds clear and deep and there is no surface noise or any clicks/pops. It would be better to have polylined antistatic inner sleeves but this is no deal breaker.
