How Do You Read College Football Odds?
Reading college football betting odds is similar to other sports. The NCAA football point spread favorite is always listed with a minus sign (-) and the underdog has their odds listed with a plus sign (+). Placing a point spread bet is a wager on the predicted spread determined top sportsbooks. When betting on the spread on the favorite, that team must win by the margin of points by which they are favored, whereas betting on the underdog means they cannot lose by that same point spread. For example, if the Florida Gators are favored by 3.5 points over the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Gators must win by at least 4 points for Florida to win the wager, otherwise Ohio State would win the spread bet. There are occasions when the college football odds line is a whole number, in which case, the bet is a push and your money is returned if the margin of victory is exactly that point total.

- Overtime counts for all CFB odds markets unless stated otherwise
- Abandoned or postponed NCAAF games are void unless played within the same scheduling week. In the event of a change of venue, all college football betting lines will be void.
- For CFB player prop markets, the player must play at least one snap for proposition bets to stand.
- For touchdown scorer market, betting is all-in whether the player takes the field or not.
- College Football Point Spread (Handicap) betting: In Point Spread (Handicap) and Total betting, where the index (value) of the market is a whole number, bets are void and will be refunded where the score lands on that number.
