Atsuko Okatsuka July 2024 Singapore Show: Dates, Venue, Tickets

Following a successful sold-out show last March, comedian Atsuko Okatsuka is returning to Singapore this July. The stand-up comedian will make a stop in the city as part of her Full Grown Tour on 23 July 2024 at the Esplanade Theatre.

Other cities on the tour include Los Angeles, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Perth, Melbourne, Norwood, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. It will kick off this May and wrap up in August. Read on for all the details on her show.

After a sold-out show in March earlier this year, the stand-up comedian will be back in Singapore as part of her ATSUKO OKATSUKA: INTERNATIONAL FULL GROWN TOUR, where she tells stories about her childhood and life experiences including her relationship with her family.

Ticket details

Fans of the bowl-haired comedian will be able to get access to presale tickets via Now/Live & Bohm on Tuesday, 7 May 2024, from 10am-11:59pm or until the allocation is exhausted. To join the pre-sale, sign up to the Now/Live mailing list before 7am on 7 May to receive the presale link. The presale link will be released at 8am on 7 May.

General sales for the public starts on Wednesday, 8 May 2024 at 10am. Tickets are prices at S$68, S$78, and S$98, and will be available via SISTIC here.

The comedian was born in Taiwan to Japanese and Taiwanese parents. She spent most of her childhood in Japan and moved to the US when she was eight years old. For seven years, she lived undocumented. Atsuko Okatsuka is well-known for her eccentric delivery and how she incorporates her life experiences into her comedy.

She is the second Asian American woman to have a standup special on HBO, The Intruder. It was in The New York Times’ list of best comedic debuts of 2022 and in Vulture’s list of Best Comedy Specials of 2022. Other than being a comedian, she is also an actress and writer. Fellow comedian Margaret Cho named Atsuko as her heir when it comes to comedy.
