YouTube prankster who got on stage at BAFTAs sneaks on to Man Utd team bus

The Premier League has warned clubs to be on alert after prankster Lizwani evaded security to make it onto Manchester United 's team bus.

Lizwani, who has more than 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, previously hit headlines in February after making it on stage at the BAFTAs in London. He was snapped standing behind Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy as Emma Thomas, a producer on the blockbuster movie, accepted an award with Murphy in close attention.

It was far from the first time the YouTuber has pulled such a stunt, with other examples at the Ballon d'Or ceremony and 2022 Brit Awards. However, according to The Mail, his latest escapade has prompted a crackdown from the league.

He is reported to have been wearing a United tracksuit and carrying a washbag as he calmly boarded the bus after Monday's defeat at Crystal Palace. Lizwani was quickly apprehended by United's own security staff, but concerns have been raised.

The Mail also reports that Palace are studying CCTV to get to the bottom of the incident. Lizwani was reportedly detained until police arrived to speak to him.

He has an entire playlist of 'sneaking in' videos on his YouTube channel, dating back several years. One such clip sees him make it into a match between Tottenham and Watford before getting to the players' lounge and snapping a photo with then-Spurs star Erik Lamela.

The latest prank came after a difficult evening for Manchester United in the Premier League. Erik ten Hag's side were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, and the manager is after a response following that disappointment.

“If I look at the problems we have faced and all the injuries we have had, in almost every game the players have still fought," Ten Hag said ahead of the game at Old Trafford. " There has been great team spirit. But not on Monday night - and that is why I was disappointed. I was really disappointed and the players were disappointed with themselves. There was a collective failure.

‌“But in all the other games, we have fought for each other, showed good team spirit - and I don’t have any doubt about this. The players fight and there is a good team spirit. I think the fans have seen this.

‌“They saw against Brentford how we fought. We did not play well but we fought and stayed in the game. At Chelsea, it was a great game, we played very good and we fought.

‌“Against Liverpool, we had to adapt the backline because Raphael (Varane) and Jonny (Evans) dropped out, but we fought and got a very good result.

‌“They have always fought. Against Coventry, until 70 minutes, then Sheffield United. They are resilient. Against Burnley, our third game in six days, if you see what we put out there it was a lot. How deep the players went in their physical outputs in these games was incredible.”
