EXPERIENCE WESLEYAN

Take a virtual tour of our campus with photos and see what makes Wesleyan unique.

Wesleyan Christian Academy is located in High Point, North Carolina, the heart of The Piedmont Triad. We’re nestled about 20 minutes from downtown Greensboro and downtown Winston Salem.

Wesleyan families represent over 53 different zip codes and live in various cities throughout the Triad including Archdale, Asheboro, Clemmons, Colfax, Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Lexington, Summerfield, Thomasville, Trinity, and Winston-Salem.

While Wesleyan is the largest private school in the area with over 1,200 students from six-weeks-old to high school seniors, our students and faculty enjoy a close-knit family environment. Our Early Education Center serves 285 children from six-weeks-old to young five-year-olds while our K-12 Academy is home to approximately 975 students with an average class size of 19-20.

For almost 50 years, Wesleyan Christian Academy has been blessed to serve area families on our current Centennial Street campus which includes 26 acres of land and over 210,000 square feet of instructional space. As we’ve grown over the years, in both enrollment and programming, the new property will allow WCA to meet our current needs while further expanding the exceptional programming and athletic opportunities that are synonymous with Wesleyan's mission and vision.

The new Sandy Ridge campus is a short seven-minute drive from our current location and almost triples our size. With 71 acres, the new campus will provide enough space for athletic fields, recreational fields, new programming opportunities, and a state-of-the-art education facility. Our goal is to develop the recreational and athletic fields over the next four to five years, allowing our students to make use of each new area as it’s completed. You’re invited to follow along with our progress by visiting our New Campus page.

Although all of our students are located on the same campus and under one roof, each school program—Early Education, Elementary, Middle, High, and Enrichment—has a dedicated area on our campus for its students.

Yes! Wesleyan has integrated technology across all grade levels and in every classroom, including the use of Google Chrome Books and SMART Boards, among other offerings. Our goal is to provide and teach technology to our students that will enhance the educational learning experience. For more information about Wesleyan's Technology Philosophy, please visit our Quick Facts page.

The athletic facilities on our Centennial Street campus include two gymnasiums, an indoor pool, tennis courts, a softball field, a soccer field, and a practice field. Additionally, Wesleyan students benefit from several age-appropriate playgrounds, a Sports Medicine Office, a wrestling room, and a weight room.

The new Sandy Ridge campus is home to a centrally-located pavilion, baseball complex, soccer/lacrosse field, practice fields, and playground, all of which are currently being used by our families for games, field trips, and school-wide fellowship activities. Future athletic facilities will include a soccer stadium, track, softball field, cross country trail, amphitheater, rock-climbing wall, nature trail, and more.

Wesleyan offers a comprehensive program in instrumental and vocal music, drama, dance, and the visual arts. Whether our students are participating in Music class as part of their early ed or elementary curriculum or enjoying Band, Chorus, or Drama as an elective in middle and high school, every Wesleyan student has an opportunity to explore their God-given artistic talents.

Visual art is also part of the curriculum from kindergarten to 5th-grade. Students in 6th-12th grades may take Art as an elective. Some of the mediums that our students work with include clay, collage, metal tooling, painting, pen and ink, pencil, photography, pottery, weaving, and more.

Wesleyan's Teaching Studios provide private and group instruction in art, brass, dance, drama, guitar, percussion, piano, voice, and woodwind.

Wesleyan's main academy office is located at 1917 N. Centennial Street, High Point, NC 27262. You can access the main office via entrance "A" at the stoplight at N. Centennial St. and Beaucrest Ave.
