The Outlaws” are back for Season 3. The five-episode season of the comedy thriller is created by lead actor and director Stephen Merchant. The series follows a group of strangers from different walks of life forced together to complete a community payback sentence in Bristol. Now, with crime boss The Dean (Claes Bang) behind bars awaiting trial, the Outlaws are moving on with their lives — until one of their own returns with a deadly secret, hurling them back into mortal danger. As a murder manhunt closes in on the gang, can they prove their innocence before The Dean’s case collapses, and he comes looking for revenge?

In addition to Merchant, Rhianne Barreto, Gamba Cole, Jessica Gunning, Darren Boyd, Clare Perkins, Eleanor Tomlinson, Charles Babalola, Tom Hanson, and Christopher Walken return.

“The Outlaws” streams on Prime Video. The third season will be available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Nordics. The show is a Big Talk and Four Eyes production co-created by Merchant, who also serves as an executive producer, director, and writer, and Elgin James.

Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen, and Matthew Justice are the executive producers for Big Talk, along with John Butler. “The Outlaws” is co-produced by BBC One and Amazon MGM Studios. Global distribution is handled by BBC Studios for all three seasons.

Prime Video recently landed its second-best start for any series ever with video-game adaptation “Fallout.” More than 65 million people watched “Fallout” in its first 16 days on the streaming service, which is second only to the premiere of “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” The debut episode of “Rings of Power” was watched by 25 million people in just 24 hours in 2022.

The platform debuted romantic drama “The Idea of You” and “Outer Range” Season 2, among other releases. Recent series “Expats” also made a splash on the streamer earlier this year with Nicole Kidman starring in the Lulu Wang-helmed adaptation series.

“The Outlaws” Season 3 premieres Friday, May 31 on Prime Video. Check out the trailer below.
