Oh Well Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

[Refrain]
Oh well

[Verse 2]
Now when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Sit by me, and I'll be your guiding hand"
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

[Refrain]
Oh well

[Verse 2]
Now when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Sit by me, and I'll be your guiding hand"
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

What did Slash say about "Oh Well"?
Genius Answer

His singing cadence and that drawl that he has for this particular song, in my mind’s eye, it sounded perfect. I had to get his number and cold call him. And he was really gracious about it and really bent over backwards to help me get it done. I think it was one of the best ideas I’ve had in recent memory, was to have him sing that song.
