Wang Feng talks about his life story
Wang Feng’s latest music documentary includes his upbringing as well as his various relationships.
Chinese rock musician Wang Feng is releasing his documentary, Existence, tomorrow which encompasses his experience growing up, together with chasing his dreams in the music industry. He also discloses all the details about his relationship with actress Zhang Ziyi, from when they first starting dating, to their marriage in 2015.
During a recent premiere of the film in Beijing, Wang Feng talked about the original intention of it being simply to show a young man growing up. He said that there was no special reason behind it but to show how his hard work, determination and a little luck pushed him to where he got today.
Apart from his life story, the other eye-catching segment in the film would be Wang Feng and Zhang Ziyi’s complete love story. He revealed small details like how she personally makes longevity noodles on his birthday and also joked about how childish she is, such as not picking up her phone during arguments.
He revealed that the whole process of filming and production took around two years, with several rounds of editing. This video is his second collaboration with his wife which required her to communicate with the director and give her opinions.
The couple have a daughter, Xing Xing, born in 2015. Wang Feng also has two other daughters from his previous relationships.
After the release of Existence on the 15th of August, Wang Feng will begin preparing for his upcoming concert in Beijing next month.
