- shedeeGold Coast, Australia239 contributionsNice an well maintained caves . Took Tour 2 due to the raining season but it was fairly easy with lots of steps that makes you sweat a lot at the end. However, there is suitable lighting and we were able to appreciate the awesome caves but sad to see graffiti on some of the areas. Wish management were a little strict to monitor and clean it. Saw a guide that didn't reprimand some kids on a tour that didn't follow the instructions and sneaked out of the path. Anyway, it's a good experience for 2 hours. There is very limited option for food or water so bring your own.Written December 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KC OKuala Lumpur, Malaysia197 contributionsThe entrance in RM5 for adult Rm2 for kid.
Not a big venue but worth a visit. A lot of artefacts and specimen is displayed. Its a very very good museum on Tin Mining history considering its run privately ( i think).
There is also also a portion of exhibit of how printing is done in those days.Written November 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. MGR trully is a great place to escape city life and just enjoy the nature, get loads of fresh air, and Durians!! If you want some adventures, white water rafting is just nearby and maybe caving in Gua Tempurung.Written June 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unfortunately little in the way of information was to be found from any notices or from the attendants.Written March 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KY GKuala Lumpur, Malaysia7,064 contributionsEstimated 2 km for entire trail up and down. Takes about 30-60 minutes. Relatively easy hike with low gradient slopes. Suitable for beginner and kids.
There is 3 peaks with the furthest is highest elevation. Each peak will have some big limestones formation which you can stand on top to take great photos.

- Adeline Phua2 contributionsIt's a total of 12km hike starting from the carpark in the residential area. The trail can be confusing with left trail going to Gunung Bujang Melaka, right trail heading towards Gunung Relau. Lotsa leeches along the way, so please come prepared. There are some rock climbing involved, hard inclines as we approached the peak. Approximately 800-900km of elevation gain in 3-4km trail, considerably steep, therefore please train before coming. Alas, once you reached the top, you are awarded with photo opportunity with stacks of ammo boxes.Written March 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ray L2 contributionsThis is our first time white water rafting. We were recommended to take the kayak as it is more fun. I was a little worried that it will be dangerous. We were taken up the upper hill with a lorry with the kayaks. The guides were very friendly and explained the instructions, and off we went. They even provided a photographer on a solo kayak to take our pictures and videos - of us riding in the white water and falling off the kayak. It was a lot of fun. Good memories for this trip. I would say REX is worth the money. Highly recommended.Written October 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - terry a3 contributionsPlan an outdoor trip with Nomad recently with my family of 4 (kids age 9 & 12).
We took the caving and white rafting activity which took a day to complete. My kids loves the both activity! Not being an outdoor kids really brings the best out of them.
The caving consist of both dry and wet obstacle so be ready to be wet! For the kids, they love the adventure! John our lead from nomad for the day was awesome! He mistook me as a geologist ( I am by the way) the way he explain how the cave form really impress me.
In between activity, we had lunch buffet prepared by Nomad and the food is good to my surprise! I thought it’s just food in container, my spouse love the way nomad goes above and beyond for this. The rafting took the afternoon session and T was awesome in navigating the boat and explain some historical event about the river. We need to paddle extra hard as my son is a passenger during the event. Overall engaging nomad is the best decision we made during our 2 night 3 days trip down Ipoh.
Defiantly recommend the if ur around Gopeng!Written May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
