The Last of Us Parte II ha sido elegido Juego del A�o (GOTY) en la edici�n 2020 de The Game Awards, la gala presentada y producida por Geoff Keighley que ha tenido lugar en la madrugada del 11 de diciembre. La aventura de acci�n de Naughty Dog se ha coronado como el vencedor de la noche con un total de siete premios, pues tambi�n se ha llevado el de mejor direcci�n, mejor narrativa, mejor juego de acci�n/aventura, mejor dise�o de sonido, mejor interpretaci�n (Laura Bailey) y premio a la innovaci�n en accesibilidad.
A m�s distancia, con dos premios cada uno, se han quedado Final Fantasy VII Remake (mejor banda sonora/m�sica y mejor RPG), Hades (mejor juego independiente y mejor juego de acci�n) y Among Us (mejor juego multijugador y mejor juego para m�viles). Los premios se han otorgado tras el voto de m�s de 90 medios de comunicaci�n (entre ellos Vandal) repartidos por todo el mundo.
