Despite not being known for their recent European pedigree, Celtic have appeared in a prestigious Champions League table involving some elite teams.
On the continent this campaign, although they didn’t progress past the Champions League group stage, the Hoops did make progress on their 2022/23 season.
They doubled their points tally and secured a first home win in Europe’s premier club competition in over a decade, defeating Feyenoord by two goals to one thanks to a late Gustaf Lagerbielke header.

Given only two sides in the above table have played fewer Champions League games than Celtic (Man City and PSG), their place in it is all the more impressive.
Should they win the title, the Celts will look to add even more points to their tally next season.
If they qualify, the Parkhead side will have a much greater chance of improving their European record because they will face eight different opponents in the initial stages of the Champions League and play two more games than in previous years.
First and foremost, though, all eyes should be on domestic matters and securing the title. With five games to go, Brendan Rodgers has his side three points in front but complacency cannot kick in as the campaign reaches a climactic end.
