Product description
It's been eight years since the critically acclaimed 'Let US Play' but Coldcut have made the best album of their long and illustrious career. Their production has never sounded better, their ideas have never been more various or interesting, they've never had such a great cast of guests and then integrated them into their sound so well. Ninja Tune. 2005.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Although i have always had a coldcut yearning, their albums have nealry always left me with only a couple of tracks that i keep going back to. Sound Mirrors is in my opinion the first complete album colcut have recorded. Just about every track is a gem, some may be shinier than others, but there is so much to take in, digest and enjoy. Sound Mirrors brings a smile to my face through its melody, colour, rythymn and something else, something that is unique to these chaps.. If you have ever had a fond memory for a coldcut track in the past but were scared to revisit - this is the album, it is new and fresh and condensed coldcutness..
1.0 out of 5 starsNot in any way did it meet my expectations. I got it expecting some Amiri Baraka reading of his poetry.

I was expecting some Amiri Baraka reading his poetry, hopefully accompanying by jazz. Mostly, though, not only was I not able to access Baraka, I couldn't access anything. The CD is worthless to me. I don't necessarily hate it, but maybe some understandable instructions would be in order for me for me to listen to it (& mabe view it) so that I could give some kind of review on the material on the CD.
