FALL RIVER COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — A single vehicle crash south of Edgemont killed two people on the morning of Wednesday, April 24, according to a release from the South Dakota Dept. of Public Safety (DPS).

Names of those killed have yet to be released. DPS reports a 2001 Ford F250 was traveling south on SD Hwy. 471 when it left the road, overcorrected and rolled several times down an embankment.

Neither of the men in the vehicle — the 55-year-old driver or the 64-year-old passenger — were wearing seatbelts.

South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
