Pauline Bock New Statesman It's utterly ridiculous. And we couldn't stop watching. Aug 24, 2018 Full Review John Doyle Globe and Mail It's a heist-centric multipart drama that upends most clichs of heist movies and celebrates others. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut Spanish TV series created by Álex Pina, telling the story of a single crime, told across 22 episodes: eight robbers, organised and led by The Professor, break into The Royal Mint of Spain with the aim of taking home 2.4 billion. Rated: 4.5/5 May 10, 2021 Full Review Lynden Barber Limelight Tthis series is full of outlandish plot points in virtually every episode. Yet I kept watching. Why? Partly because the series is dynamic and unusually well structured... May 29, 2020 Full Review Álvaro Onieva Fotogramas The good direction including the action parts, the photograph and the visual commitment to red as an identity color, a script that measures well how to dose revelations and twists. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 29, 2019 Full Review Mikel Zorrilla Espinof Its first episode showed its high level, presenting its protagonists and exposing the situations they will have to face with enough flippancy. Daniel R The main plot itself is interesting, but the writing and dialogue are atrocious and ridiculous. I’m no tv snob, but my goodness the things these characters say and do are so unlike actual human beings it’s crazy. In the first two seasons there are a couple hours of riveting action, but with many hours of stupid, sappy conversations and conflicts where the characters do weird things seemingly at random that contradict their previous behavior. There are plot holes you could drive a truck through. I watched the version dubbed into English, which was probably a mistake, since so much of the dialogue doesn’t seem to make sense. And the main character constantly speaks in a weird, rushed, breathless voice. I found myself constantly rolling my eyes and waiting for them to get back to the main plot. If you don’t care about dialogue or any realism at all, you might love this show. I really believe that as a movie, or maybe 6 episodes at most this could have been really good. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/02/24 Full Review Leo N One of my favourite tv show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review hila r 🤯🤯 this series is love at first sight. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Sam B The only good thing out of this series is what they literally ripped off "Inside Man". Everything they themselves have added is sooo objectively incredibly bad. The amount of plot holes looks like the lovechild of a fishnet and a perforated swiss cheese. Nearly every character has no consistent personality and is dumb as doornails. The plot seems to be written with no idea how the ending would be and just added stuff as episodes were written without any effort to maaaybe revisit the script of episode 1. One of the worst things I have seen in my life Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Read all reviews
