Kim Kardashian's sex tape drama from the first episode of The Kardashians gets resolved in the third—by none other than Kanye West.

On today's episode, an emotional Kim tells mom Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian that West got the rest of the footage from her home movie with ex Ray J, which catapulted her to fame in 2007.

"He got me all of the sex tape back," Kim says. "And he flew home and he got the computer it was on and the hard drive. He met up with Ray J at the airport."

The good news came right before she was set to host Saturday Night Live—something she didn't want to do with her past hanging over her head.

"I know Kanye did this for me, but he also did this for my kids," Kim says in a confessional. "I want to shield them from as much as I can. And if I had the power to or if Kanye has the power to, like, that is just the most important thing to me. And I'm just so emotional because of it."

Kim and West, now legally separated, share four children together: daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 4; and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2.

"Thank you for Kanye and for his unbelievable way he does things and the ability to get something done. And probably a big, fat, huge check. So we're all very grateful," Jenner says, also relieved.

Meanwhile, West just says, "We not getting extorted ever again."

As for what the remaining footage contained, Kim says, "It was just footage of us at a restaurant, at a night club, nothing sexual. Nothing weird."

Though the gesture meant a lot to Kim, it has since taken on a negative connotation for West. In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, the rapper said he flew to get the sex tape for Kim when she was already dating Pete Davidson.

"How you gonna bring me to SNL and kiss the dude you dating right in front of me?" he said at the time. "And everybody's like, 'Oh, that's, that's cool.' After I went [and] got the laptop from Ray J myself that night, right?"

He added, "I met this man at the airport, then got on a red eye, came back, delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning, and then I gave it to her, and she cried when she saw it."
