This is really more of a smooth jazz album than a country record. It does contain a great country song with "I Still Can't Say Goodbye", featuring a rare vocal by Chet, but largely suffers from the usual light jazz problem of too many songs sounding the same. '80s production doesn't help.
The second side is the better one, with the above song, a more traditional Atkins take on the Lovin' Spoonfull's "Daydream" and "Mockingbird Variations". Surprisingly, his duet with Mark Knopfler on "Imagine" falls flat.

This release means a lot to me. The stand out track, for me at least would have to be "Still Can't Say Goodbye". That was the song played at my grandfather's funeral.
