Our choice of entering this restaurant was brilliant. Good food at a good price and a really nice place and decoration. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here twice during my visits to Dordrecht and both times the food has been excellent. For the visit last week, we had the "surprise" menu with consisted of a mushroom soup, venison appetizer, beef steak entry followed by chocolate desert. As with...my prior visit, the food was excellent and I very much enjoyed the meal. The location of the restaurant is not far from the Kinderdijk, so you can spend a few hours visiting the old windmills followed by a great dinner.More

We had beautiful cooked spicy mussles in this friendly place. Both beer list and wine choice top of the bill. Also good price.

Cozy restaurant with plenty of tasty options in the menu. I ordered chicken and pineapple salad and a delicious salmon al papillot with vegetables. Prices are good according to the quality they serve and staff is very nice

The restaurant was full on our arrival so we had drinks in the bar. The bar staff and waitress were all so friendly and this made for a lovely dining experience. Our meals were all really nice , hot and large portions. I had the...Gevulde Courgette and it was one of the nicest meals I have had. As a vegetarian I was very impressed.More

Very good restaurant if you are looking for value for money. Dishes are always very tasteful and the service always up to standards.

We moored our boat at the Alblasserdam marina and this restaurant was within sight. There were people sitting inside and out, great decor, really friendly staff and excellent food. It was good value too.

My wife and I visited Wapen after cycling from Kinderdijk. As it was a beautiful day we choose to sit outside which was lovely. Waitresses were attentive and friendly. The lunchkaart had a varied choice, classic dutch lunch cuisine. I choose an Uitsmijter met kaas...and my wife had a chicken wrap with a side order of fries. The food came quickly and overall we enjoyed it. As I always say when I order an uitsmijter 'how can they get fried eggs on bread with some sliced cheese wrong?'. My meal was fine, no complains but no 'this is proper tasty' moment either. My wife enjoyed the wrap however she was a little confused why is was more expensive than the toasties. It was literally just one wrap with some chicken mayo combination. They forgot the fries to start off with but a quick reminder and they were out in a couple of minutes. The only shocking moment was that the fries didn't come with frietsaus/ mayo!!! This is the Netherlands! Fries always come with saus! Slap on the hand Wapen! Good place to come for lunch for simple dutch food. :-)More

Great location on corner of canal in a quaint town on way to Kinderdjik. Food was excellent. Even the bread and garlic butter was a good start. Stewed beef is excellent. Friendly service.

This hotel was booked for me by clients and I was very grateful for that. The rooms are not fantastic, (no flat screen TV's or feather duvets and could do with modernising), but comfortable, if you listen really hard you can hear your neighbour snore....However the Bar and Restaurant is highly recommended. The atmosphere, food, staff and attention to detail are excellent, so well worth the visit if you are in the area visiting windmills, (Kinderdijk). As far as I can understand, there has been a recent re-fit of the restaurant prior to March 2016. The fixtures and fittings are all very nice and compliment the property very well adding to the ambiance and atmosphere perfectly.More

I was staying at the attached hotel bar is under going refurbishment restaurant staff very helpful I had tomato soup with meat balls followed by surf & turf both very good and served piping hot would recommend
