This lower tube is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in blower vacuums. It is a plastic, cylindrical pipe, approximately 12 inches long, that connects to the upper tube on one end and the blower nozzle or attachment on the other. It directs the airflow closer to the ground towards the desired work area. The lower tube can break or detach from the unit leading to restricted airflow, reduced suction power, and lower equipment efficiency. Replacing the lower tube is a simple repair that does not require the use of any tools. Push down on the smalls tab at the connection point and pull the faulty tube off and discard it. Clean the connection points and attach the new lower tube in position. Ensure that the tube is locked in place before using the blower vacuum again.

This tube guides and controls the direction of the blown air, allowing you to effectively move leaves and debris. To identify a broken upper tube, look for visible cracks, breaks, or if it becomes loose or disconnected. Without replacing the upper tube, the airflow may be negatively impacted. To remove the upper tube, detach the concentrator and lower tube by depressing their locking mechanisms and pulling them away from the machine. When installing the new upper tube, firmly push it into place until it clicks.
