My time at Conestoga left me with lots of mixed feelings. The expectations of everyone around you to have exceptional grades, take AP courses, and of course apply to/enroll in college was stressful, but something I thought was normal. Now that I attend college out of state, I see that this (sort of toxic) pressure cooker environment of academic rigor was pretty specific to stoga. This was stressful and challenging at the time- assignments due every day of the week, extracurriculars, countless sleepless nights, etc. However, I’m so grateful for the education I received. Conestoga over-prepares you for college. I am able to complete my assignments with ease, and use the work ethic and intense study habits I learned at stoga often. Socially, there was much left to be desired for me; if you don’t have a “group,” you’ll probably have a bit of a harder time. However, my involvement in the music dept. made up for this. Almost all my positive memories from high school I credit to ‘Stoga Music.
Conestoga High School in Berwyn offers a solid academic foundation with a variety of challenging courses. The faculty is supportive and dedicated, fostering a positive learning environment. Extracurricular activities cater to diverse interests, encouraging students to explore their passions. The school's facilities are well-maintained, providing ample resources for both academics and recreation. The community at Conestoga promotes inclusivity and respect, creating a sense of belonging for all students. Overall, Conestoga High School equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success beyond graduation, making it a top choice for education in Berwyn.
My overall experience at Conestoga High School has been amazing. The student-life here is great with all the activities we do each month. Conestoga offers many clubs and classes to select from, as well as, very diverse with their programs. Of course like any high school, there has been some fights but not a lot and the faculty are able to shut it down in a matter of seconds. There's nothing I want to see change here in Conestoga High School.
