3. Mangarap Ka (1996)

Claudine is paired with Mark Anthony Fernandez as BFFs Jenny and Nonoyteenagers with big dreams from the province who move to the city and study at the University of the Philippines! The film's iWant description tells us that "their friendship is threatened when Nonoy becomes a track star and becomes conceited." UH-OH.

6. Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita (1998)

"Binigay ko sayo lahat, wala akong tinira para sa sarili ko!" We're all fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope, right? In this movie, "ideal" rich boy Miguel and "bad girl" Mela fall for each other, but there are maaany obstacles (especially their respective exes) that will test their relationship.

7. Soltera (1999)

According to iWant: "Sandra Valdez (Maricel Soriano) is successful but it feels like something is missing, which she finds in Eric (Diether Ocampo). Despite being many years younger, Sandra begins a relationship with him. Eventually, their age difference proves to be a problem, and Sandra suggests a break. But when she finds that Eric is already loving someone else (Claudine), how will this affect Sandra?"

8. Anak (2000)

Vilma Santos plays Josie, an OFW who returns to the Philippines after many years in Hong Kong. Her eldest child Clara (played by Claudine) does not want a relationship with her mother because she feels her mom "abandoned" their family years ago. Claudine and Vilma both gained critical acclaim for this dramatic film, and it's really a must-watch especially this scene:

9. Got 2 Believe (2002)

This film was Claudine and Rico's last movie together (*sobs in a corner*). Claudine plays a wedding coordinator who believes in "the one," while Rico is Lorenz, a cynical wedding photographer. It's the typical rom-com where opposites attract, but this movie is just sooo good! The digitally-remastered HD version of the film is on iWant, too.

10. Kailangan Kita (2002)

Arrogant Carl (Aga Muhlach) returns to the PH from the US to marry his finacee Chrissy. He stays with Chrissy's family in Bicol, where he meets her sister Lena (Claudine). They get off on the wrong foot but soon learn ~how to get along~. What happens when Carl starts falling for Lena? What about Chrissy?? Here's the emotional trailer, because I know you want to watch it:

11. Milan (2004)

You can't not know this line: "Mahal mo ba ako dahil kailangan mo ako, o kailangan mo ko kaya mahal mo ko?" In this film, Piolo Pascual is a Pinoy who goes to Milan, Italy, in search of his wife. Claudine is a fellow Filipino who helps him get back on his feet in a foreign country. She even teaches him how to speak Italian!

12. Dubai (2005)

It's a love triangle for Ms. Clau! Raffy and Andrew (John Lloyd Cruz and Aga Muhlach) are two brothers who fall for her character Faye. There's Pokwang telling Claudine "hindi lang ikaw ang kauna-unahang babae sa kasaysayan ng mundong ito na na-in love sa magkapatid," Aga and JLC punching each other, and lots and lots of tears!

13. Nasaan Ka Man (2005)

Brace yourself, because this is another intense love trianglemixed with thriller elements! Ito (Diether Ocampo), Joven (Jericho Rosales), and Pilar (Claudine Barretto) are not related by blood, but they were raised as siblings. When Pilar and Joven fall for each other and announce their engagement, Ito, who also has feelings for Pilar, is outraged.

14. Sukob (2006)

Claudine continued her horror/thriller streak in this movie with Kris Aquino, where *creepy* unexplainable events take place while a bride-to-be is preparing for her wedding.

15. Etiquette For Mistresses (2015)

"Lahat kayo kabit?" Kim Chiu's character asks in the trailer. Yes...so...this is a film about mistresses (but I want to make it clear that we do not support cheating in any way). In this movie, a group of friends train a "newbie" how to be a good mistress.
