Lovely camping place with a lot of green plants and flowers to feel good! The service were very kind from begin at the check in until to the check out. The premises is very clean and good looking.. The toilets where cleaned up (until covid19) every hour. The bar and restaurant is gorgeous designed, you can easily have a good time there. The swimming pool had an stunning roof but it was very full with a lot of screaming children. We get more relaxed at the beach. The way down is quite comfortable. I know other places at the cliff (around the world) which where highly more exhausting. i higly recommend this place for everybody wo is searching for a clean, quality and lovely green camping place where you can have an relaxing vacation (with or without children).

Such an amazing location and sea views. Gorgeous beach.

Shame the campsite has let us down.

Very noisy, no restrictions to allowing access to site so cars driving in early hours and deliveries of large vans/lorries at 0630 unloading and very noisy. Loud entertainment which does finish around 11ish but very loud clearing away and car/van driving out.

Noise of the swimming filter (or heater) running can be heard esp at night from our site. We stayed on pitch 29 and although we booked really early we were told we couldn’t request a pitch. Stayed last year and site has become very crowded with new cabins (they have squeezed them in). Atmosphere in evening has gone down hill ? Due to less people staying on site?

No soap in toilet areas despite a dispenser.

Most of the staff seem unfortunately unhappy, unhelpful and at times rude.

Lovely pool, covered and open. Pizza’s were ‘ok’. Expensive drinks but can buy a good bottle of cider for 2 euros 50 from the shop. Pastries very greasy - better from bakery in town.

Will definitely come back to location but unless these few changes are made we will be looking at a different campsite 😢

Stayed in this place for two days. We had a great site with an amazing view. Site was also very large so we did not have to squeeze our mobile home in there. The toilets and showers were o.k., fairly close, clean. Another plus was the fact that it is possible to arrive late. in other places we had to arrive at 8 p.m. or even earlier, here arriving late is an option.
Location of the camping is also perfect if one wants to walk the custom path. Just a five minutes hike and one is on the path.
The only disadvantage: Restaurant was not really that great. Both the pizza and the burger tasted very "factory-made, just take it out of the freezer and throw it into/onto the oven. But the view from the restaurant was great.

Beautiful campsite, seaview and beaches, new and clean rental facility.
Services are a bit out dated. Swimming pool good. Food: pretty bad.
Biggest complaint: the way the staff handled our complaint about the noise the jacuzzi made. It ran all day, you could not shut it down. Staff said it had something to do with programmed cleaning-cycles, but also said: ‘We are no jacuzzi-experts’. We decided to have it shut down. But then noticed the neighboring jacuzzis made much less noise. Staff should at least have said: we regret that you are not satisfied with our service. Especially since we payed extra for it. They said nothing like that.

Having stayed at La Cormoran on Ile de Re we had high expectations sadly they weren’t delivered. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. However we’d been allocated a pitch that we could not get our 6M van into. Despite our booking saying we had a 6M van. Staff were surprised we’d been allocated the pitch and offered tow alternatives one that was again too small for a 6M van and a second with a slope that even the biggest of levelling ramps couldn’t deal with. Amazing a large level pitch ideal for a van had been given to two people with a tent! The toilets were also a let down small block with one toilet and shower more like a public convenience we didn’t look at the larger blow l that was quite a walk away. This site was worse that three star sites we’d stayed on and no where near the quality of the sister site in Ile de Re the site was generally untidy Group Romanee need to take a long look at the facilities and how pitches are allocated. Much improvement needed. We didn’t stay and thankfully reception staff understood that pitches offered were unsuitable and refunded our fees. Very disappointed

This is a beautiful resort for camping with a caravan, tent, trailer tent or even chalets swinging tents and large fixed tents.
The site is on a hillside with beautiful views over the sea. It has an amazing beach close by but has lots of steps to get down to it.
We took our dog on the beach every morning and met lots of other French and Dutch people who very friendly.
The site has a lovely pool and lots of activities for kids.
The staff are extremely good help is always o hand. During the day they brought round fresh fruit to eat.
It is well worth a stay

This is a wonderful site which for some caravans and chalets overlooks the sea. The grounds are kept really well but some of the pitches specifically at the top are surrounded by trees and need a bit of trimming. The pitches remain in the shade most off the day. I like a bit of shade but not all the time as it is nice to relax in the sun some part of the day.
There are lots showers and toilets and some near the new chalets have been updated but both blocks near the bar need some tlc. In the disabled shower there were no hangers for your clothes or towels. Also the shower head could not be hung up as that was broken too. It meant that you had to leave all your clothes in the bag as and everywhere got wet through.
The pool area and the bar are very nice and there’s seems to be lots of things for the kids to do both outside and inside.
Basically a very nice place ti be.
There is a beautiful cove and the beach is lovely although has lots of steps down to it.

The views are spectacular, the toilets and showers are quite clean and there are a lot. The restaurant/take away has GREAT food for a reasonable price, the pool is nice and big enough, the bar is very cool, the evening program is quite entertaining. The city is close and the beach is within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here!

Facilities are not 5 star. The washing and toilet facilities are very mixed across the site. We have never experienced no soap or paper towels/driers in communal toilets before. The staff are disparate and aloof. It feels unmanaged overall. The site is very noisy and there is no curfew.
This is a site of mixed ready tents, permanent cabins and pitches. We stayed in a canvas/van holidays tent which was meant to be high end. The tent was awful. An original in that it is very VERY old. The beds were like prison beds and everything inside was metal so rusted and at the end of its life. We were told there is no point complaining as the tents will be removed at the end of the season.

The coastline is stunning and the town is a lovely seaside town. Great access to places to visit from this base. Good play area for kids. Pool is small and gets very busy with very young children.

We left early.

The campsite is in an excellent location and the accommodation is of a decent standard.
Sadly the campsite grounds have not been well maintained and consequently there are many hazards lying in wait for the poor campers. There are no footpaths for the pedestrians and the tracks for the vehicles are in dire need of maintenance. No sooner had we arrived than I fell down a rut in the road and badly sprained my ankle. This, in effect ruined our holiday and I spent the entire time on crutches. Sadly there was no support from the onsite reps and Canvas Holidays, now part of the Vacanceselect group, have denied all responsibility.

Given the totally unacceptable lack of customer care and regard for basic health and safety standards at this site, I cannot recommend this holiday company. Before I even set foot in the accommodation I badly scratched my arm getting out of the car as the hedges had not been trimmed leaving exposed brambles along side the parking area.

It is a great shame that this lovely site has been allowed to deteriorate. Be warned!
