So we went to David’s during the week and had a wonderful time. Our server, her name escapes me but she is young and has red hair, was lovely. My date had the smoked salmon omelette and I had the crab cake Benedict. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the ambiance, not to mention lovely service.

We wanted the house salad with house dressing. But was told they don’t offer it any more. But last time we were there they had it for valentine day

I tried to write a review but I guess since it was so bad you wouldn't let it be submitted. No I would NOT recommend David's.....cold food, bad server, wobbly table. Much tamer than the original review I tried to submit. So I guess I should add bad software programming!

We went for Sunday brunch. $55 for everything that was promised on the online menu seemed pretty reasonable, and the $15 bottomless mimosas was a good price. The server was great. The issue was that what was on the buffet was definitely not what was advertised. Everything on the online Sunday brunch buffet menu sounded amazing, but when we went, a lot of things promised on the menu were missing. There weren’t yogurt parfaits, Chesapeake smokehouse salmon, eggs benedict, and potato hash were not there. There was a greasy catfish and gelatinous grits dish, but almost everything, including the catfish, was lukewarm. That said, the pastries were amazing and the omelette station was good as well. The service and atmosphere were great, but the quality of the food was not what I would expect for a $55 buffet.

At first I was disappointed I couldn’t order from the menu, but the variety of food available was amazing. I enjoyed with my daughter & grandkids who were there with me to celebrate Mother’s Day. The mimosas at David’s are so far the Best ones I’ve had. We had a Reservation and the time allotted (10-11:30) was more than enough. The grandkids had a good time…

Let me just start by saying Open Table and David’s need to do better at advertising their buffet menus via the Open Table app!!! I made reservations for Mother’s Day for a guest and I, and kept getting grilled by our hostess about not being able to partake in the buffet that I knew nothing about given no buffet (nor menu) was advertised on Open Table when I made my reservation. It made for a very rocky and confrontational start to what I’d intended to be a very relaxing breakfast/brunch for me and my guest. Instead our Mother’s Day meal and experience started off quite stressful and somewhat embarrassing as I had to keep explaining there was nothing advertised about a buffet upon booking on Open Table. All else was good but again, Open Table and David’s need to do better with advertising and informing customers of such special menus/dining experiences upon booking via Open Table’s platform!
