- Norma FBuenos Aires, Argentina470 contributionsit is a free access walk that allows you to see the city of mar del plata from a good height, good place to take children to visit.Written July 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HopeTrinidad197 contributionsIt's really beautiful here. The gardens have lavender and smell so wonderful. There are tours given for the inside of the house but you can also feel free to walk around the gardens and sit on a bench and relax.Written August 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CFEIIICenter, TX5,655 contributionsI had a pretty fun day at the aquarium, got to see a variety of animals and fish and birds. I really enjoyed the penguin display, not sure how many species, 4 maybe 5. I think kids would really enjoyWritten December 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rexhansMesa, AZ192 contributionsIts been a while since visiting the laguna, but when we lived in Mar del Plata this was a definite destination at least 3 or 4 times a year. it was like a time warp, escaping the city for the quiet and solitude of a country getaway. the lake is great, but the town around the lake is precious. Little shops are quaint and fun and just walking around the town is worth the trip. Don't miss this hideaway if you get as close as MDP.Written December 2, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Guada PerezBuenos Aires, Argentina1 contributionI have been there with my family and we had an unforgettable vacation. A very large beach that is not crowded so it is perfect for those ideal long walks. You can rent beach umbrellas and deck chairs at a low price. We stayed in an apartment near the beach and the city is peaceful, you have a lot of restaurants and stores where to buy cheap souvenirs. The only bad thing was that some days we could smell that fish smell from the port but it was bearable.Written June 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Norma FBuenos Aires, Argentina470 contributionsIt was a very cold day and I enjoyed having a coffee with a beautiful view of the city's waterfront and the sea in this well-preserved historic part of the city.Written July 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Norma FBuenos Aires, Argentina470 contributionsLocated in the center of the city, in the main square. The huge stained glass windows were brought from France. The large Baccarat crystal chandelier is 100 years old and was originally located in the Hotel Bristol, one of the first hotels in the city. The jewel of the church is an anonymous replica of Michelangelo's Pieta at the right entrance of the cathedral.Written July 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - miamaidBuenos Aires, Argentina70 contributionsCompare to the other beaches, this was far better. There weren’t a lot of people so it was perfect. There is juice bar that is ok.
Mar del plata is not what I imagine.. on the other hand don’t come here for the beach in my opinion. If u r a cold person like me, you won’t like the temperature of the water. It’s cold!!!🤪Written December 29, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The tour was amazing and the tasting was very interactive and fun. We brought along a friend that spoke both Spanish and English so that he could translate. For lunch we sat outside in the garden and had charcuterie and wine. It was the perfect day! Transportation tip: we scheduled a van from our hotel that drove us and waited to drive us back. The total for the van was about $260 US. Also tip: this vineyard will is the real deal!!! This is worth doing! But bring a translator or be ready with a translator app.Written February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
