Lyle Lovett to perform at the CFCC Wilson Center this fall
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – American singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett and his Large Band will perform at CFCC’s Wilson Center on October 1.
Lovett is a country music star whose career includes swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues elements.
When not touring with his Large Band or Acoustic Group, Lovett may be found performing as a duo, most recently with singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, or in concert in front of the Pacific Symphony in Irvine, CA. Lovett is a four-time Grammy Award winner, a recipient of the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award, an Austin City Limits Hall of Famer, and has been named Texas State Musician. The celebrated musician, who Rolling Stone magazine has described as “Country Music’s most mysterious man,” was last at the Wilson Center with his Large Band in 2016.
Tickets go on sale to Wilson Center Members at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday and to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
