Kings College Chapel where to park?

Kings College Chapel where to park?

Hello, we will be driving from Albyn Place, Aberdeen and would like to visit the Kings College Chapel in the morning (on a Monday at approximately 9.30AM) and then drive to Crathes Castle to visit the house and gardens. I've been looking on Google maps regarding the Chapel. Where would be the easiest place to park to visit the Chapel? I assume it's part of the university Grounds? We are keen to see the chapel but would like to make it a hassle-free visit. I would appreciate advice. Thanks very much.

The university grounds are for permit holders only and you have to look out for the bus gates at King's College and on Bedford Road.

The nearest free parking is at The Aquatic Centre of Aberdeen Sports Village, then North of School Road. Seaton Drive etc.

There's pay and display parking around Orchard Street and University Road.

Yes, the Sports Village car park at the Aquatics Centre off Regent Walk is your best option.

Last time I used it, you got three hours free parking and the University has a joint-use agreement with them, so there is no risk of a "Leaving Site" penalty. All the other public/on street parking in that area is paid and the wardens round there are merciless..!

It is maybe worth noting that if you have to change your plans, the Uni car parks are free for public use from 4:30pm to 9:30am the next morning and at weekends
