Love Terrain’s brunch. Their lox bagel with beets is gooood, and their cocktails are good. The Bloody Mary is exceptional. Can’t wait to sit outside and enjoy this place again.

Had a lovely lunch with friends today. Hidden away on lower State Road. Mushroom Soup from local Kennett Square was excellent. Beet Salad was fresh and tasty. Qiuet area Will be returning soon to try other items on the impressive menu.

Another great dining experience at the Terrain Cafe. We once again sat at the bar and want to recognize Diana, our server, who was wonderful - professional, efficient, warm & welcoming. We came for brunch again and it was excellent - beginning with the great flower pot bread and the flavorful butter. Our entrees, the Wild Mushroom Frittata & Short Rib with Egg were delicious. And then we had the extra bonus of shopping next door!

We had a wonderful time. We especially enjoyed the the humus plate with beautiful vegetables and very tasty humus. When I returned in late November for Happy Hour with my husband we ordered the humus plate but the humus was as good. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL HUMUS RECIPE. It was the best and I was I was disappointed in November. Thank you!!

Nice place for lunch; we were a group of four women and really enjoyed it. The cafe has a farm-to-table orientation, with lots of salads and vegetables featured. I had an original take on grilled cheese that was excellent. Service was good though we had to request our beverages twice. I like the decor (very garden-like and natural). When we walked in, I was afraid it was going to be too noisy for conversation, but once seated that was not the case. This is a great place for lunch or brunch if you plan to shop at the garden center.

Since we are residents in Doylestown, we were happy to see the former Delaware Valley College (now University) Farm Market taken over by a like-minded business, and with a bonus – a café. My husband and I went for an early brunch on a Saturday. The staff was friendly. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We were placed at a small table in the corner but it was a deep table so there was plenty of room. The decor was stunning inside, where we sat, and out on the patio. The menu looked delicious and there is even a vegan option too (avocado toast). I ordered the Terrain breakfast (eggs scrambled) and my husband ordered the Free-Range Egg Omelet. For appetizer, we were served hot bread baked in a clay pot - it was a delightful presentation and delicious! I had to control myself to save my appetite for the main course. When our breakfasts arrived, portions were amply large. We enjoyed both of our meals, however, my husband's omelet was not completely cooked and had to go back to the kitchen. The cheese in that omelet is very soft and runny, so apparently it is difficult to tell when the eggs are cooked by comparison. I expect the staff will improve this over time. While I do feel the prices are on the high side, you are paying for the ambiance and the artisanal touches with the food. We definitely go back and view this a more of a place to go for an occasion rather than regular weekend breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed Terrain Café. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere is beautiful, we like to support the businesses in our area, and in this case support our local farmers also. I think it is worth a try!

Sunday brunch... the food was good but the entrees we had were not special, esp for the price. The omelet, fritatta and terrain breakfast were good but needed something special to differentiate it from breakfast at the diner up the road, which is also good but 1/4the price. The fresh bread was fun and the atmosphere is beautiful. The ladies room could also use a few special touches to match the rest of the establishment

Beautiful restaurant but expensive It was still happy hour. They only had one white wine to choose from. A Pinot Grigio which was just ok. My friend ordered a glass of Chardonnay. When we got the bar bill my happy hour wine was $10 and her Chardonnay was $18. Both were 6 Oz glasses but that was ridiculous. Two of us had the halibut which was delicious and enough food. Another friend had the scallops (only four pretty small ones). Two of us had the mushroom soup which was yummy. The renoun pot bread” also delicious. Our bill was $65 per person which I guess is not unusual in this day and age. But they really need to do better with their wine prices. Might be a one and done for me. Did not visit the store.
