Unable to sign in to Outlook

I am not able to sign in to Outlook on either my MAC or PC. I use Chrome. For the past 24 hours I have keep getting the following message -Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again. - I have left it for several hours before trying again , but same message. I have cleared browsing data and cache and changed password, all to no avail. The troubleshooting details message is as follows:-

Error Code: 80041002

Correlation Id: b9b63077d8cd4badad76794794f3deb6

Timestamp: 2024-04-24T08:04:07.681Z

I understand that you're having trouble signing in to Outlook on both your MAC and PC. Based on the error message you provided, it seems that the Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts, which is causing the issue.

To better isolate, I would suggest checking the server status in your area. You may click on this link here. Service Status (office.com)

To resolve this issue, I would recommend waiting for a few hours before attempting to sign in again. This will give the server enough time to reset and allow you to sign in without any issues. Additionally, you can try signing in using a different browser or clearing the cache and cookies on your current browser. Accessing on different devices also would help in isolating the problem.

If none of these solutions work, please let me know and we can explore other options to resolve the issue.
